Heat Pump or Ducted System for my air conditioning?
Versatility and affordability are the two main things to consider when you’re thinking about air conditioning at your place.
A heat pump will cool down your main living areas on a hot day, making your home liveable during our hot summers, however your bedrooms will still need a separate unit to cool them down, either a stand alone fan or another multi-unit heat pump.
It’s an affordable option that will keep you cool during summer, with the option for dry mode when the days get muggy - as we know they do!
For whole home consistency, a ducted system is the best option. A ducted system is a premium heating and cooling product and designed for ultimate comfort. You can keep your bedrooms and living areas cool, as well as use zone control to change the temperature within different rooms of your home. It’s a luxury, but we think it’s worth it!
What to expect when you work with us:
- A home consultation. New build or retrofit, our first step is a consultation at your place. We need to know what we’re dealing with to ensure the best fit for your home.
- Custom Calculations. We’ve got our maths down to an art and tailor your system to your home by calculating the size of your layout, ceiling and pitch height among other things to ensure the heating to space ratio is efficient. We’ll discuss the best options for your needs.
- Quote prep & approval. We’ll go away and prepare a quote to send through for approval. If you’re happy with the quote, we’ll book in the install.
- Installation. Installation takes about 2-3 days depending on the size of the project.
- Aftercare. We’ll take you through how to use your heat pump or ducted heating.
