The Mitsubishi Electric Lossnay Ventilation System

Lossnay is a balanced pressure system, perfect for new, air tight homes. A balanced system creates equilibrium in your home by pushing air out and bringing fresh air in, improving air quality all while being quiet and efficient.

We can pair the Lossnay system with a ducted system for ultimate in luxurious home comfort, or we can install it on its own or with a heat pump.

Smart Vent

Do you live in an older home with single glazed windows? Smart Vent is a great, cost effective option to dry up those moisture-ridden windows.

Older homes are not as air tight as new builds. Smart vent is a positive pressure system which uses a fan (installed in the roof cavity) to help push air outside through the natural gaps in your home, leaving you with cleaner air and a healthier home. You’ll be amazed at the difference.

Do you install DVS or HRV systems?

Our preferred brands are the Mitsubishi Electric Lossnay Balanced Pressure System, the SmartVent Positive Pressure system and the Cleanaire HRV system. We don’t install DVS or HRV systems.

What to expect when you work with us:

  • A home consultation. New build or retrofit, our first step is a consultation at your place. We need to know what we’re dealing with to ensure the best fit for your home. 
  • Custom Calculations. We’ve got our maths down to an art and tailor your system to your home by calculating the size of your layout, ceiling and pitch height among other things to ensure the heating to space ratio is efficient. We’ll discuss the best options for your needs. 
  • Quote prep & approval. We’ll go away and prepare a quote to send through for approval. If you’re happy with the quote, we’ll book in the install. 
  • Installation. Installation takes about 2-3 days depending on the size of the project. 
  • Aftercare. We’ll take you through how to use your new system.

The cost depends on the size of your home, your roof cavity and the complexity of installation. A retrofit Smart Vent system starts at $3,000+gst for an average three bedroom home.

For the ultimate in home comfort we suggest pairing your ducted system with a ventilation system. The ducted system will warm your home, and the Lossnay Balanced Pressure System will ensure fresh, clean air is circulated around your home.

Lossnay, Smart Vent and Cleanaire are cost effective, quiet systems to run.
